Patrizia Norelli-Bachelet (Thea) \u2013 founder and director of Aeon Centre of Cosmology (ACC)<\/a> \u2013 passed away on 9 October 2016. Her departure leaves behind a world-wide family of friends and students who thank her for the extraordinary vision of the Life Divine she revealed to us in what she calls The Third Way or The New Way.<\/p>\n

Married in 1956<\/strong> to Mr. Fernando Bachelet, diplomat of the Government of Chile, who retired in 1994 with the rank of Ambassador. He formerly held an elected post in the Party for Democracy of Chile and was senior member of the Governing Council of the Chilean Human Rights Commission. Ms. Michelle Bachelet,\u00a0 former President of Chile, is the niece of Fernando Bachelet and Ms. Norelli-Bachelet.<\/p>\n

Two Children:<\/strong>\u00a0 Daughter born in 1958\u00a0 –\u00a0 Dr. Vivienne Bachelet-Norelli<\/strong> (neuro-surgery). She was formerly Vice-president (elected) in charge of Women\u2019s Affairs of the Socialist Party of Chile now in power; and is presently the Founder\/Director of Medwave Chile.<\/p>\n

Son born in 1963 –\u00a0 Mr. Pablo Bachelet-Norelli<\/strong>. He is former Executive Editor of the Dow Jones USA foreign language publication, AmericaEconomia. From 2002\u201304 he was In charge of Reuters\u2019 Latin American desk; 2004\u201308 Washington correspondent for the Miami Herald. He is listed in International Who\u2019s Who. Currently is Chief of Media Relations for the Inter-American Development Bank, Washington D.C.<\/p>\n

Ms. Norelli-Bachelet founded Aeon Centre of Cosmology<\/strong> in 1980.\u00a0 She is the Director of the Centre and from this place carries out her research and writing on subjects related to the establishment of a Gnostic Society along the lines initiated by Sri Aurobindo, on the basis of a new cosmology.\u00a0 She is also:<\/p>\n

– Founding member and President of Aeon Trust<\/strong>, established in India, 1986.<\/p>\n

– Founder and Director of Aeon Books<\/strong>, established in India, 1975.<\/p>\n

– Managing Director of Caroselle Dairy Products Pvt Ltd<\/strong>, established in India, 2000.<\/p>\n

– Prescribed Authority, Animal Welfare Board<\/strong> of the Government of India.\u00a0 2002. Oversees welfare of horses in Karnataka and other States.<\/p>\n

– International Convenor,\u00a0 Matrimandir Action Committee<\/strong>,\u00a0 2003 – 2008.<\/p>\n
